William C. Matheney,
FHFMA, CPA, MBA
Bill has approximately nineteen years of extensive experience in the healthcare industry. This includes approximately two years with the fiscal agent for the State of Tennessee Medicaid Program, two years as a nursing home controller in a large SNF/ICF facility, and fifteen years in public accounting serving the healthcare industry. Bill has managed and served as in-charge auditor for audits ranging from small rural hospitals to large tertiary facilities. He also has served as reimbursement consultant to many hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies.
Bill received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting and Master in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and information systems from Tennessee Technological University.
Bill has attained membership in: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tennessee Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of various healthcare related organizations and currently serves as Second Vice-President of the Tennessee Chapter of HFMA. He is a recipient of the HFMA William G. Follmer and the Robert H. Reeves Merit Awards.
